I like to share information that makes life more joyful and meaningful. My main interests are health and general wellness in body and mind.

How to cure cancer : Introduction

How to cure cancer? Literally, this critical question is a matter of life and death. Do we have a clear-cut answer to “how to cure cancer’? Currently, there are broadly two choices. The conventional mainstream treatments and the alternative non-intrusive holistic healing therapies.

Most people know of the conventional mainstream treatments. The three “killer” treatments, namely, chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. Or a more grotesque description; poisoning, cutting, and burning! This aggressive approach to “cure” cancer has devastating side effects and could even kill the patient before the cancer does its job. The two most destructive results from this type of treatments are that the healthy cells get killed and the immune system gets weakened. Just imagine what will happen if your healthy cells get killed and your immune system not functioning! Enough said. Let’s leave this type of treatment to the mainstream health experts.

How to cure cancer? The above method is undoubtedly the most “accepted” one. But please remember, that it is not the only method to cure cancer. There are other methods to cure cancer. The alternative non-intrusive holistic healing therapies. Although these therapies are not recognized and approved by the mainstream medical authorities, it does not mean that they cannot cure cancer.

How to cure cancer : Alarming stats

Before going into details of these alternative therapies, take a look at some glaring statistics.

  • Fewer than 60 percent of the patients managed to finish their radiotherapy treatment, and many doctors thought patients would have lived longer without radiation.
  • Many patients whom doctors had given up hope, survived, when as a last resort they turned to alternative treatments.
  • Each year, 1.2 million Americans are diagnosed with cancer, and almost half of them will die of cancer. In the world, 60% of humans will develop cancer.
  • Cancer is the second largest cause of death in America after heart disease.
  • Certain cancers like lung cancer and pancreatic cancer, even the short term two-year survival rates are very low.
  • Once patient has undergone chemo and radiation therapies, the cells become toxic, and resistance and immune system will become very weak. Once this happens, it is difficult to administer alternative treatments with much success. And should there be a relapse, the cancer will spread rapidly, killing the patient.

Conventional treatments : Alternative therapies

Serious side effects of conventional treatments:

  • Chemotherapy : hair loss, nausea, gastrointestinal problems, anemia, low white cell count, general malaise and mental impairment.
  • Radiotherapy : healthy cells killed, damage to tissues causing pain and irritation.
  • Surgery : futile and painful removal of tumors, but not curing cancer because these tumors are just the manifestation of the cancer disease. The malignant tumors by then, would have invaded other parts of the body, a process called metastasis.
  • Psychological problems : patients develop psychological problems caused by pain, physical change, and depression.
  • Financial worry : conventional treatments are very expensive.

Advantages of alternative therapies:

  • No adverse side effect.
  • Build up immune system.
  • Improve on the general health of the patient.
  • Psychological advantage : positive self-control of treatments.
  • Alternative therapies are cheaper than conventional treatments.

What are alternative therapies?

Alternative therapies consist of a very wide range of treatments which are usually natural, nutritious, detoxifying, and stress-free. They are usually used in combination and not stand-alone treatment. That is why it is called holistic. The strategy is not directly “attacking and killing” cancer cells, but building up the body’s natural immune system and enabling the immune system to systematically eliminate the cancer cells, the “nature’s way”.

The treatment regime will incorporate a nutritious diet, detoxification program, prescribed medication, a change in life-style and psychological motivation. With this holistic therapy, the body is given a complete rejuvenation to heal itself through the strength of the body immune system.

Do not under-estimate the power of psychological motivation. Negative thoughts, stress, depression and fearful emotions are poisons to the body’s defence mechanism. A complete change in mind-set and attitude will strengthen the healing powers of alternative therapies. With a positive rejuvenating body-mind system, the fight against cancer will be a success.

Various methods of alternative therapies

Below are the various methods available as alternative therapies:

  • Nutrition : The target treatment is to strengthen the natural immune system. Treatments include nutritional supplements, vitamins, and a total change in diet regime. This treatment is called the “biological” therapy or “biological response modifier (BRM), or simply “biotherapy” which uses the natural body immune system to fight the cancer cells. It is also called “immuno” therapy.
  • Detoxification : The purpose is to flush out all toxic impurities from the body so that it can function properly, enabling the immune system to strengthen itself, speedily. This usually involves the cleansing of the liver, kidneys, digestive system, and urinary system, using herbs and natural ingredients.

  • Enzymes : This is to break down the protective coating around cancer cells and to support healthy metabolic processes.

  • Oxygenation : Supplying ample oxygen to bring vital energy to the cells, reverse tumor growth and facilitate the elimination of pathogens (fungi, bacteria and viruses) which may be weakening the immune system. This may take the form of ozone therapy, deep breathing exercises and/or oxygenation of the blood directly through intravenous protocols.
  • Tumor targeting : This is a more aggressive approach to directly attacking the tumor using cancer vaccines, hyperthermia, or chemotherapy alternatives such as ukrain, amygdalin, mistletoe, and carnivora.
  • Life-style change : This is one single important “indirect treatment”. The main cause of cancer is living a life-style that is against nature, namely, “poisonous” foods, polluted environment, late nights, drugs and other intoxicating substances, negativity, stress and worries. Life-style change means to live according to nature’s laws.
  • Emotional Healing : This is the psychological aspect of healing. With a relaxed and positive mindset, the body is given a chance to relax and gradually build up its own immune system to fight diseases. This may take the form of counseling, emotional release therapies, deep breathing, qigong, homeopathy, or bodywork.
  • Spiritual Connection : This is to connect with nature, to be one with nature, strengthening the will to be healed and to live a healthy life again. This may take the form of prayer, meditation, spiritual counseling, or just having the rejuvenated feeling of being “born again“.

How to cure cancer : You have a choice

This article is to emphasize the fact that a cancer patient has a choice in treatment. This fact is more often far from the mind of the patient once being confirmed cancer by the doctor. In a panic and distress situation, the patient often loses the ability to think rationally. So the result is to undergo the conventional treatment, without considering or realizing that there is a choice in treatment.

The best approach is to seek out reliable experts on alternative cancer treatments and then go from there. You must of course consult a qualified healthcare practitioner for the diagnosis and treatment of whatever medical condition. Then you can decide on the choices available.

I strongly recommend that you read my article on Gerson Therapy (GT) and the personal testimonies of two surviving cancer patients using GT.
