How to flush out gallstones : Gallbladder and gallstones
The presence of gallstones is quite common, especially when we get older. Gallstones are accumulated in the gallbladder over time. The gallbladder is the funny-looking "pouch-like" organ connected to the liver on one side, and the small intestine on the other end. You can refer to the picture on the right to see the positioning of the gallbladder. .
The gallbladder stores bile, a greenish-yellowish substance, which is released into the duodenum as and when required to digest fat. Over time the cholesterol contained in the bile will accumulate into small chunks. These are gallstones. Normally, these small stones will be able to squeeze through the duct into the small intestine; then no problem.
When they have difficulty discharging into the small intestine, then we got a severely painful problem and we need to flush out the gallstones.
How to flush out gallstones : Simple gallbladder cleanse
It is said that no doctor will tell you this. You don't need painful and expensive surgery to remove the gallstones.
It is very fortunate that the internet has helped to disseminate this very useful information of home remedy to flush out gallstones without surgery. Many of my friends and relatives have benefitted from this simple procedure. One nephew of mine was on the verge of surgery, but did this gallbladder cleanse, and all the stones came out!! No more surgery!!

How to flush out gallstones : The "6-day" Method
- For the first 5 days: Everyday, take 4 cups of pure apple juice, or 5 good-quality green apples (granny smith). This is to gradually soften the gallstones. During this 5-day period, you take your meals as usual.
- On Day 6 : From 2pm : complete fasting until the next day.
- At 6 pm : Drink a mixture of 1 teaspoon Epsom salt (Magnesium Sulphate) with a small cup of water. Epsom salt helps to open the gallbladder ducts.
- At 8 pm : Repeat drinking the salt mixture.
- At 10 pm : Drink a mixture of 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice with 1/2 cup pure olive oil. This is the final intake of the night; then go to sleep. This mixture will help the stones to pass through more easily.
- At any time you may feel the urge to go to the toilet.
- Otherwise, the next morning, wait for the urge.

How to flush out gallstones : The "1-day" Method
- Start your fast after dinner in order to proceed with the flush proceedure the next day.
- Breakfast - drink juice of 3 large green apples (granny smith).
- Lunch - same as above.
- Dinner - same as above.
- You can drink any amount of plain water in between and nothing else.
- Try & take as much rest & sleep as possible so that you don't have hunger pangs.
- At bedtime - drink juice of 3 fresh lemons mixed thoroughly with enough extra virgin olive oil to fill a coffee mug (this can be a nasty drink).
- Go to bed immediately. Lie down on right side of your body & hold your knee as close to your body as possible for as long as you can or until you fall asleep. (you can watch tv in the meantime) This position helps the discharge of the gallstones from the gallbladder into the stomach.
- You may feel the urge to go to the toilet at any time.
- Otherwise, wait till the next morning.

How to check the result?
Prepare an old unwanted basket to put on the toilet seat. When there is an urge to pass motion sit on the toilet seat with the basket over it as a sieve to trap any big gallstone that you may pass out. Other smaller ones will fall through into the toilet but they will be floating in the water. Flush away any waste matter in the basket & you will see the gallstones. They are usually shining grey or greenish in color. See photo on the right.
You need not have to go through all this hassle to collect the stones. Usually some of them will float to the surface. Seeing some of these floating stones should be good enough to have peace of mind that the treatment is confirmed effective and a success!
A general liver cleanse
In fact the above cleansing methods are also regarded as a general liver cleanse. Over time the body is polluted and contaminated by all sorts of toxins. These impurities are breeding ground for diseases. The immune system is severely weakened when these accumulated toxins are not flushed out from the body system. We can use the above cleansing methods to periodically cleanse our liver, gall bladder and duodenum, even if we don’t have any gallstone in our gallbladder. The liver is the most vital organ that can prevent cancer from developing. So take special care of your liver.

This is amazing, after two bad attacks and a week of bilary colic and too many drugs to metion i thought id give the one day detox a go, pain stopped straight away, the drinks were hard to digest! but hey ho this mornong about 50 stones 5 were near 1 inch big!! i feel back to normal after weeks of pain, but i thought id ask how soon should i do another flush out??? was seen to have a large gallstone on my scan last year, and im due to have another scan on 28th sept with view to having my gallbladder removed, im hoping they will all be gone on the scan, and im soo please i found this site, a million thanks :-)

BEWARE, this flush turned in to a nightmare for me. Maybe I'm just the 1 out of 100 that had problems. The flushed worked when I did it and I passed probably close to 100 stones. 3 weeks later I started to have pain again, after 2 days of the pain getting worse I went to the emergency room. I had a bunch of gallstones blocking my liver and pancreas which led to partial liver failure and pancreatitis. I spent 8 days in the hospital. If they would have just taken out my gallbladder the first time I went to the emergency room, it would have been 1 day in the hospital and much less pain. This flushed could have killed me, they told me what I was going through was life threatening.

Maybe you don't have the gallstones. My wife and I both tried; also no stone came out. Maybe we are the lucky ones!! Hahaha!!!!

I've just had 2 surgeries. the first was supposed to be out-patient to remove a cyst and no big deal. I went home and ended up going back to ER with excruciating pain. 8 hrs later they find that they had cut my lower intestine in the 1st surgery and had to do ER surgery to repair. Since I came home (last week) I have had terrible pain in my right side under my ribcage. I can't take a deep breath, sneeze, cough or have indigestion or burp w/o severe pain. My surgeon told me he SAW that I had gallstones while doing my surgery. Why not have removed them then I don't know. Anyway it seems to get worse during the night and upon waking. I'm not sure if it is gallstone pain but since he saw them I guess it is. I am going to try the flush recipe above as I am scared to death to go have any more surgery. This is embarrassing. I thought only grandparents got "gallstones"! Yes I'm a little over 40 and a little overweight but not much so.

my gallbladder shows several bright echoes with posterior sonic shadowing with aggregate measurement of 1.2cm and 1.9cm. With these tiny stones will there be no possibility that it would block the passage if i use the 6day method?

I was detected multiple gallstones in my gallbladder of collectively size 12.5 mm in Jan 2010 (I had tried three different radiologist and get three different reports from them. Two are saying there are multiple stones in my gallbladder and one is saying there is one calcified stone of size more then 10.5 mm). I had gone through many gallbladder attacks that time (probably 35-40 attacks from Nov 2009 to May 2010). This was terrible time for me. Doctors will never tell you this. Two reasons. One; they will all close shop in no time. Two; medical ethics prevent them from "advising" patients to try "alternative" cures which are not officially approved by their Association or Government Agencies.

I would use caution with the large amount of olive oil. The last time I did this flush I had severe pain in right breast and a blood vessel popped out. Otherwise it has been effective in the past...but I have never used more than 1/2 cup olive oil.

I am sharing this information based on experience and positive results from those whose used it. Even if it doesn't work, I don't think it is going to harm you. I wouldn't recommend any of these cleansing programs! I was diagnosed with gall stone after an abdominal ultrasound (9mm) and I did the cleansing with Epson salt plus also done a parasite cleansing prior. I have also ejected 100+ green stones, some as big as 25mm in diameter!!! Last week I had another ultrasound that revealed that my little 9mm stone is still free floating happily in my gallbadder! So in all and all I have ejected all that "stone" but not the one I wanted to eject! Getting hopes up to be let down isn't nice.

I'm currently trying the 6 day method. Does "complete fast" mean no liquids either (other than the salt and olive oil concoctions)??? No food sounds easy, but as a sufferer of kidney stones, I try not to get dehydrated.

At 6, 8 and 10pm you would have the liquid already. I suppose if you still feel "dehydrated", a little additional plain water should be ok. If you can, you should follow the instruction.

Just finished the 6-day method and, sure enough, there were soft little pea-like "stones" in my poop. The eternal skeptic, though, I have to wonder if these may not just be deposits/clumps formed in my intestines by my unnatural consumption of green apples/epsom salt/lemon juice/olive oil. Some research online revealed that this is a common statement of those who denounce these treatments. I guess the only way I'd know for sure is to go in for another CAT scan or to hire a scientist to examine the makeup of these curious green poo-clumps...which I don't foresee happening.
Still, the program is very low impact - the epsom salt made me slightly queasy - and you only have to skip one meal, so there's no harm in giving it a shot. I'd love to see conclusive proof that these things are actually gall stones, though.

Hi I would like to know that 6 days methods.The first 5 days, only have apples as major meals ? No breakfast, lunch and dinner at all ?
If we can have our normal meals the 1st 5 days, those apples we have them before or after ? Can I split out into 3 times to have those apples ? 2 in the morning 2 in at noon and 1 at night ? The first 5 days, you take your normal meals as well. You can split into any way you like so long it's done within the same day. Size of apple, at least medium.

my wife had tried the 6 day method and in allah's grace it work out.. on the 6 day after she drink the epson salt and the olive oil in night the next morning when she flush out we see green thing in her stool she take 3 flush out that day and we all see green thing in her stool but around 3pm she began to feel pain in her stomach near her gallbladder until the next morning and now she dont feel pain anymore hope the pain will never comeback again,,,i just have 1 question is it normal to feel pain after you flush the gallbladder stone

I am glad that your wife responded positively with the treatment. I have not heard of the pain you described. Since the pain is gone, don't worry about it. Perhaps it's just an after-effect reaction, having all the stones flushed out.

Thanks for this remedy it's seems have few yellowish skin with nice greenish inner little stone. Alike green gummy bear chewy candy. I'm not sure it's a gallstone or what but there are some substances unsual from normal flush.Anyway, I would like to know can I do this flush once a month ? I think there is no harm doing it monthly. But my personal opinion is that if I am healthy with no health problem, I don't need to do this monthly.

I'm personally excited to try this, on the 30th. I have been in and out of the hospital last month and it really sucks, the medications and all. I have tried several herbal medicines, sambong capsules and all but still the stone is still there. I was under medication for a week. WBC read 90 instead of 4-6 normal range. After a week it showed that WBC is back to normal. However, I still feel pain and the doctor said it is possible I have gallstones. So I read info about gallstones and how to remove it without surgery. I will be trying this gallstone flush tomorrow. Got myself prepared eating apples for the whole week. I should be ready to go through the process of flushing. Hopefully it works!

The purpose is to take in the juice of 3 green apples. If you want to eat them, no problem.
As I said please follow the instructions. It says GREEN apples. If you want other type, you can always try, but don't blame anyone if it doesn't work, as you are not following the instructions.
Just juice 1 apple and you would know how much juice is 3 apples. I can't tell you as I have not done the measurement.

The flushed worked when I did it and I passed probably close to 100 stones. 3 weeks later I started to have pain again, after 2 days of the pain getting worse I went to the emergency room. I had a bunch of gallstones blocking my liver and pancreas which led to partial liver failure and pancreatitis. I spent 8 days in the hospital. If they would have just taken out my gallbladder the first time I went to the emergency room, it would have been 1 day in the hospital and much less pain. This flushed could have killed me, they told me what I was going through was life threatening.
I've had gallbladder issues for over a year and a half (since May 2010) and they have just recently started having it very bad and almost daily. Two days ago, I went to the doctor and they told me I had to make a date to get my gallbladder removed. Before I went further with that, I wanted to try this cleanse. I went out last night and bought all the supplies and have been drinking apple juice like crazy! I plan to do the oil and salt water tomorrow night but I had a question first. After 2PM can I drink any apple juice? Or do I not eat or drink anything after 2? Will someone please let me know?

I think if you are really thirsty, a bit of plain water should be ok.

I really can't give you any professional advice. I merely share useful information, with a "Discalimer". You need to decide for yourself. Just to let you know, some of my friends did it the second time after resting a few days to make sure that they were ok after the first treatment. The second time they used the 1-day method.

Is this 6 day flushing method good to for liver cleanse?
I got two Ultra Sounds, and both says I have gallstones. But, they do not give the dimension of the gallstones.
I decided to use this one, then I will decide to get removed my gallbladder or not.

I have completed the 6-day method yesterday. I get the urge around noon of the 7th day. It was a success for me.
The staff I got does not look like stone. It is green and little bit bigger than the peas. The stones are very soft and i could squeeze them. It is like a old gum. Thus, I had almost same questions as Alan did. I think, they are soft because of the 6 day method with drinking a lot of apple juices. Also, I am 28 year old male (being relatively younger and male), and probably the stones are fresh ones.
Do you you know what could be the cause or type of the material can result this green stones in gallbladder.
Tomorrow, I am planning to use the one day method, since I already soften the stones with apple juices.

I have completed the one day method. It was performed after one day later the previous one. I basically did the last day instructions of the 6-Day Method, instead of doing the one day method.
It was a success, but I did only a couple of stones. I think this proves that I have taken the all of the stones out, because I was not having big stones at my gallbladder.
I will take an Ultra Sound Test in a couple of weeks. I will try to update more.

Tried the flush, followed it step by step.
This morning I woke up, went to the bathroom and saw "stones" green. But what do you know I start having pain in my gallbladder. I just got back from the ER. Apparently the main stone is still stuck in the duct, and the "stones" that I ejected were nothing more than soap which congealed from the combination of olive oil and lemon (How soap was made in ancient times).
Seems like an old parlor trick.

This flush will cause you to flush "stones". Only problem is that these "stones" are made from the combination of olive oil and lemon juice. The fasting is recommended so that the ingredients mix more efficiently inside the stomach. This flush will not flush gallstones, because flushing gallstones is IMPOSSIBLE. Yes, it works for me and my family. My son was scheduled for surgery but decided to try this remedy and it works. The doctor was surprised when there was no more stones shown on the xray.
